Even though there's plenty of clothing I need to sell, I've made some [cheap] finds lately.
For instance, this ADORABLE raspberry-coloured dress with cute bows [from H&M, for 7 eur]
This was such a bargain: original price tag was 40!
These two I found at nearby fleamarket. Or thrift store, as most of you like to call them. I must admit fleamarket sounds pretty disgusting.. But that's the straightforward translation from my language and so it comes out more naturally.. These are both H&M - stuff, mint [my favourite] coloured asymmetric knit [3 eur] and light blue slim fit jeans [5 eur]. I can't believe the size was perfect, I never find good jeans just by snapping my fingers like this. Or glazing through couple of tables, as in this case.
And I fit into 27" what the ...? i Love them both so ♥
This cutie is brought from Paris to a local boutique UniikkiK, and I bought it before they put an end to business. They still have webstore and make customer events where they sell clothes, but no more boutique - where I used to work. Too bad, I loved the place a lot. Nice clothes, both vintage and new, and cute kitch-items.. :) This lavender/lilac tunic was now only 10 euros.
Some glitter too! This was only 1 euro from the same fleamarket as the knit&jeans. I say wooaah ^^
And then, last but not least two things I grabbed from Gina Tricot:
long white tank top and terracotta - trousers with brown belt = total 6 euros!
I think I'm going to wear that top a lot, when going to beach etc. next summer. I took size XL, since I want it to be extra oversize :)
I've had a little time off from the computer, so replying to your comments "as we speak" = right now. :) THANK YOU ALL. ♥
on the background: angel painting I got from my sister & frames from my grandparents.
* These might be the last outfit photos
I have to take with my mobile phone *
I've taken some photos of my fleamarket & sale finds from last week with
My Brand New Baby - HAHAH. I mean my little but efficient Samsung.
Coming up shortly!
Almost all the things at our living room are lying around the floor next to walls, or packed in cardboard boxes etc. As you can see on one photo. Since the big bookshelf was disassemblied and put to our storage room, there's no place for all of (my) stuff. And there's plenty of it. When I'll find the perfect cupboard, I'll go through all of it and get rid off all the junk there. Promise! :)
Here I'm just showing a bit of my make up / desktop area + a casual outfit. And my face.
Haven't showed that all that much, have I, haha !
We had this huuuge bookshelf in our living room, that I have wanted to get rid off,
but after all I decided to put it into use for a while. It used to have different kind of interior objects,
books and photos on it, but couple days ago I found better place and way to use it :
I placed it next to the desktop - really handy! I put some handcraft books and materials there.
In the photo below you can see a jewellery making guide and home interior inspiration book.
The shelf is perfect for all little jars and boxes of random stuff I have.
Too bad the whole thing started to shake, don't know which screw was loose !
It was getting really dangerous, what if it swings so much to the other side
that it tips over completely .. Too scary to even think of, and it also felt too big for our living room
so my boyfriend disassemblied it. Now we need a new shelf,
ans I'm dreaming of some really nice white sideboard actually..
Hih that's my little sewing machine, that I got when I was just a small lassie. ^^
I did say that when I grow up, I will live in an apartment just above my mother and sew her clothes.
It could still work, but I don't think I could make any master pieces with it.
I have slightly bigger & better machine nowadays.
Oh and here are the promised face &outfit shots. :D
Don't look at my weird face -- if you can see the photo of
a little girl in a ballerina dress .. well that's me.
It was my another dream as a child, to be a ballerina.
All clothing from Gina Tricot
(yellow top, high waisted black jeans & grey cardigan)
black bow is long, silk belt / scarf from some dress
Thank you so much for the comments & lovely feedback to my previous post.
* hugs all around! *
total about 7 euros ! they were on sale at the moment.
These two have been quite nice products I might say!
* I put face cream in the morning before make up,
sometimes as a night moisturiser too since I don't like them to be too greasy.
It works nicely, but remember girls: there's water in most moisturisers
so temperature outside can't be too cold - otherwise the water in the moisturiser
(or whatever you put on your face) freezes and could cause some serious damage to your skin!
Sounds horrible, but I read this somewhere and sounds true to me. So beware : ]
I had quite a lot eyeliner on yesterday, so wanted to take a little extra care of the eye area.
I put thin layer of this pomegranate eye gel before crawling to bed.
Skin feels smoother all around the eyes, and I also kinda feel more refreshed today - funny!
Thanks for all your comments ! They make me SO happy.
I'm going to buy clothes rack and a mannequin,
so selling my clothes should get a little easier.
I might even start that blog shop I'm dreaming about
and have mentioned here before.
Now all I need to figure out is how to get those things home .. :D
about Valentine's day :) "My love is at soccer practice tonight, but after work he went to the city to "take care of some stuff", and came home with the biggest red rose I think I've ever seen.. It was really nice gesture and beautiful rose too. We are going to see some movies after he gets home, so it's just a cozy night at home. Now I think I'll take some buns from the freezer, warm them up and pretend I made the!"
Today he also said that I am his best friend. ♥ LOVE.
Our movie night was postponed 'til tonight,
since my boyfriend came home from practice so late, and was tired too.
Now we're preparing little snack (french fries, meatballs etc :D)
and watch Guillermo Del Toro's movie "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark".
There's Katie Holmes and it's spoken in english,
so I'm not sure if I'm going to like it
(Katie mostly does lame movies..I guess..
and Del Toro's movies are all spanish, and I love that about them:).
I love his Pan's Labyrinth, and want to see this new movie too :)
