NOTD nro. III

Cracked with
O.P.I & Essie

Today I'm all out of words. It's been a tiring winter season, ups and downs included - but that's just life. We've been having sun a lot more than during early winter, and that has affected my mood a bit. If you follow me on instagram ( here ) you know I've been doing some small diy-projects, skating (once) and changed the colour of my nails a lot ;) I hope you follow me there to keep up, since I don't post every little thing here :) Well I'm going to watch Valentine's Day on tv now, see you soon ! xx

    1. Kiitos :) Oli yksinään aika kylmän näköinen ja hassu kun kynnen oma väri näkyi alta, niin laventeli pohjalakka olikin ihan kiva lisä ^^

  2. The darkness gets to me more than the cold. Sun makes me smile, at least on the inside.

    1. I do agree. You can put on more clothes or stay indoors to fight the cold, but there isn't much to do with this darkness. Soon it will be spring and sun .. <3

    1. Thanks Vanessa! These turned out ok but I need practice, so every nail gets equally cool crack effect. Yeah and I think blue is really cute shade :))

    1. Aww another sweet comment here, thank you so much to you too Poppy Lee! You're so right, it helps when you talk or write about the difficult parts of your life among all the good stuff. I don't want this blog to be too personal but a tiny bit of personal issues is just interesting and gives you a more clear picture of me. :) We're not all rainbows and sunshine after all. At least I think there's no person as cheerful as that all the time .. :D

      Will visit you back xx

  7. oh those are some lovely shades! I especially like the lilac one. and I even happen to have two cracked effect polishes (for my toenails only, that is), yellow and blue. yours is more beautiful though, hehe ;) and yes, if it's sunny my mood gets a lot better! yesterday we had a really warm and sunny day, it was +4 degrees already :)

  13. Tiring winter? Me too sweetheart, let's hope it gets better ♥
In Norway it's actually been raining for about 3 months now (in January it was cold enough for the rain to become snow), I really miss the sun :(

I got two of these crackling effect nail-polishes for my birthday a few year bakc, maybe used them twice, just wasn't my style I guess x)

    1. Oh I sure hope it does. I guess it has a lot to do with my own activity as well. I should go out for a walk, even though it's dark ! It might help. :) Yesterday I had a really long walk with my friend and her dog which helped me get a lot better sleep and I woke up a lot happier & energetic too. ^^ We have been having some wet snow / rain lately, but January was really cold ! - 25 I think was the lowest around here .. Brrr :S And I do miss the sun, it makes everything feel so much better. Waking up when it's dark, leaving work when it's dark again - not my thing !

Yeah I think so too, not for me really .. but it sure was fun to try out! ^^

  21. I've tried a few of these cracked nail polishes and I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with them, sometimes they work really well and sometimes they don't. I love the colour of this one though, it looks really pretty :) xx
